I hate arguing with arch-conservatives. They have so little imagination I wonder how they work out how to procreate and so little empathy I wonder they can find anyone willing to.
Next two days will be largely internet-free, then one more day in the office before holidays crossing France in an mx5 which I understand is some form of exciting car thing which hopefully will fit our rucksacks. I think someone must have done a course on marketing your B&B in the Loire valley that said 'visitors will really love gimmicky themed colour rooms, so make sure you have at least one so vilely pink your guests could not possibly manage to sleep in it'. Or something like that.
We may have an offer on the house. The possible bidder is looking at an apt. too and will decide today apparently. The figure mentioned indicates 1. there is recession and 2. we do not lose money by accepting it so I hope they confirm one way or another.
